I'm trying to figure out why you'd look up if words just fell from your eyes; I'd think you'd look down at them. Perhaps they take you higher, make you think of God or nature, and draw your gaze upward.
But my ultimate conclusion is that you're trying to look away from them. Maybe they're too strong or too powerful for you to handle, so you look in the opposite direction.
Profound and beautiful in its simplicity. Nicely penned!
Your site is lovely, really like the background images of trees. Thanks for visiting my site, too. You asked whether the photo posted with my poem 'The Quiet Season' was mine, but you didn't specify which. The photo of pumpkins was mine, the other image of the trees came up when I Googled: images, late autumn trees. It is from a site: intpforum.com image: 000t91ck It is credited at the bottom of that posted poem. Thanks for your interest. Ginny
It was something new to comprehend words dripping from eyes. But I read it again and understood it better. Words and images both have uplifting qualities in themselves.
So simple, yet so beautiful. Nice job.
ReplyDeletenice...simple yet profound for now you can see...smiles.
